Making a Real Impact.
RESET by Lorrie is an organizing and decorating business centered on the philosophy that a functional, beautiful home should support your real-life needs.
For those looking for a fresh start, services include purging, storage solutions, and home staging to create a "reset" for major life transitions like moving or a new season. We also specialize in:
Mindful Systems: Moving beyond "putting things away" to creating repeatable routines and physical structures that prevent clutter from returning.
The "Reset" Process: This often involves a multi-step journey: clearing the space entirely, sorting and evaluating items, and then rebuilding the area with intentional placement.
Visual and Functional Harmony: Combining professional organizing with interior styling to ensure spaces not only work efficiently but also feel calm and aesthetically elevated.
Emotional Well-being: Emphasizing the link between an organized environment and mental clarity, aiming to "restore the feeling" of a home so clients can focus on what matters most.
Questions & Answers
-
For RESET by Lorrie, the primary answer to what sets them apart is Lorrie herself.
Lorrie, the founder of RESET by Lorrie, is characterized by a blend of professional rigor and deep personal empathy. Her approach is grounded in the belief that "things" are secondary to people and experiences.
The "Lorrie" Difference
Logical & Efficient: Clients describe her as a "logical thinker" who is highly efficient and always has an answer for complex situations.
Eco-Conscious Focus: Lorrie is an environmentally conscious organizer who prioritizes reusing and repurposing what you already own before suggesting new products.
Non-Judgmental & Supportive: A hallmark of her style is a zero-judgment policy. She creates a "kind, considerate atmosphere" to help clients move past the guilt or shame often associated with clutter.
Enthusiastic & Positive: She is frequently praised for her positive attitude and "great enthusiasm," which helps clients stay motivated during overwhelming transitions.
Empathetic: Her perspective is shaped by her own life transitions, which taught her that meaningful connections and memories matter far more than physical possessions.
"My goal isn't just to sell a service; it's to provide a return on your investment. I prioritize repurposing the systems and containers you already own before suggesting new purchases. For me, the true success of a 'reset' is measured by the money you save through efficiency and reduced waste—not by the size of the invoice."

A professional organizer is a specialist who helps individuals and businesses improve their efficiency and well-being by systematically arranging their physical space(s).
They don't just "tidy up"; they act as coaches and efficiency experts, creating customized systems that fit your specific lifestyle and habits so you can maintain the order long-term.
-
Yes, generally it is worth it if you are short on time, overwhelmed by a task or specific transition (like moving or a new baby), or are struggling to maintain order dispute tying the DIY route.
-
The Value you get is:
Time Efficiency: A professional can often organize a room in 5–10 hours that might take an individual several weekends.
Storage Solutions: Professional Organizers provide solutions that make it easier for you to maintain order after they leave.
Decision Support: They provide an objective, non-judgmental perspective that helps you part with unnecessary items more easily.
Physical Assistance: Many organizers handle the "heavy lifting," such as removing unwanted items for donation or trash, so you don't have to.
